The Sydney based four-piece band Highline are out with their latest track ‘Here Now’ and it seems like they’ve outdone themselves once again with this one.

The song starts off with a dreamy and lush toned guitar arrangement by Rhys Hope, the arrangement itself is quite minimal and complements the vocals in one of the most beautiful ways possible. The drums on the other hand are quite minimal too and provide a solid foundation for the song. The chemistry between James Priest, the bassist and Jim Osborne, the drummer is just poetic with this one. Sam Rigney’s lead vocals and harmonies weave an intricately beautiful tapestry of emotions and vocal textures. Needless to say, this track is breathtaking to listen to.
Just stay here, Oh I wish it would stand still. I love being here now.
It would be an understatement to say that this band has come a long way since their first release ‘ Had to Be said’, they’ve gone above and beyond with every release they’ve had and ‘ Here Now ‘ is one such song contributing to that fact.
